Review: Excalibur Assassin 420 TD

Post by XB I GO »

This bow has a lot of features and was really nice. It is not for someone my size at 5'2 and 115 pounds. It was a little heavy but more unbalanced, much more so than the 360TD or the 308 Short. I did make 3 accurate shots at that close range but my back and shoulders could feel it. It is a little complicated and has a lot going on. The crank, the crank string, the safety, the ADF, the two stage trigger. If you are new or want to keep it simple this may not be for you. I could crank it but it was difficult. The good thing is if you slip it doesn't unwind on you. De-cocking was difficult and painful for me with my size and strength but I did it one time. If you are an adult you should be able to handle this and figure it out. It was noisier than the 360TD but you could feel it jump with power when it went off.
