My brother and I really enjoyed the historical significance of Bourbon and a lot of the brands had interesting stories that were more in-depth than just making Bourbon. It smells like gasoline and bore cleaner. We had some Bourbon flavored sauce and chocolate and it taste like someone added lighter fluid to the ingredients. I like the smell of Scotch. We have a 180 year old family recipe for Kaluha and one for Amaretto that we make in an old still once per year. I like those. Bourbon, well you guys can keep that stuff.....

I did the Jack Daniels tour in the summer. I highly recommend it!

A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

I was once a Bourbon man then became a beer man. Then basically a teetotaler. But now about the only thing I touch is Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. I drink a shot glass of it ever year on Christmas day (my birthday) in memory of my BIL who died a couple of years ago as it was his favorite.
If you have never tasted it try it. Pretty good stuff sipped slowly.

Oh man if I wrote out the list of rediculous turns of events that came about due to Fireball, I'd need a share in BIC Pens.

I don't like Bourbon either....I think it's the corn.
Love the smokey peaty Scotch's though. Lagavulin and Laphroaig are 2 favs.
Some Irish whiskey's are good....I probably like those because they are made from Barley too...

Not a big fan of corn whiskey either, I got wrecked too many times and spewed enough of it up way back when to kind of ruin me on the taste. That said, my daughter's boyfriend got me a bottle of some 90 proof bourbon made by a little place in chattanooga and it's pretty decent. Not top shelf probably but pretty tasty for mixing.
