Review: Dr Stirrup 4X4 Kocker (my favorite)

Post by XB I GO »

This is probably my favorite item from the ATA Show tied with the ArroLok. It seems simple, a rope cocking device. The packaging says "REDUCE VERTICAL COCKING STROKE BY 5 INCHES". I'm not sure exactly how it works but it does. I cannot cock the Axiom with the Excalibur rope cocker. Using the Dr Stirrup 4X4 Kocker I can both cock and de-cock the Axiom by myself. I am very close to cocking the M380 and I may make some adjustments to see if I can get it. The hooks have rollers in them and rope rides on a roller too. The handles are large and comfortable. My Dad can get two fingers on the Excalibur cocking rope handles but he can get 4 fingers on the Dr Stirrup 4X4 Kocker! I did an experiment with this that I will report later in another post. This is a GREAT item to make rope cocking easier!
