Come Hunt Texas!

Post by XB I GO » Sun Jan 20, 2019 9:59 am

My Dad said I can host a hunt at our ranch.
March 10th -13th Sun-Tuesday
Near San Antonio Texas
Non Resident License is $48.

We're going to focus on Crossbow and Archery hunters but people can hunt with a gun if they want to.
The itinerary is to arrive Sunday night or Monday morning, hunt Monday and Tuesday and depart Tuesday night or Wed morning. We will pick you up at San Antonio Airport if you fly.

The lodging is 5 BR, 2BA with bar, living room, den and spam. Food is going to be pot-luck game meals. We can accommodate 12 people max.
If you bring a kid 12 and under the adult with them can pay just the observer fee of $100.

Three choices:
1) Texas Dall Ram or Black Hawaiian Ram or Catalina Goat or Axis doe or Blackbuck doe = $500 total hunt cost with everything
2) Trophy - Axis, Blackbuck, Scimitar Horned Oryx, or Aoudad = $3000 total
3) Bison, Watusi or Water Buffalo = $2750 total
There are a few other animals and some hogs but I have to ask based on interest.

Includes guiding, skinning and meat cut for cooler and prep for taxidermist.

There is trophy bass fishing (catch and release) right behind the lodge for free.

Archery targets out to 100-yards and a rifle range.

Post reply if you have interest. If there are any questions I will ask and get back to you.

Cool offer. I'm thinking that would be an awesome hunt ! I hunted a buddies lease near Cisco Tx for a couple years and he offered me a spot but I declined because of how far the travel is. I'm still kicking myself for not taking that lease offer!

A big kudos for offering a super hunting experience at your family ranch. A big THANKS to your Dad also.

Sorry to say :eusa-doh: . Not in my budget at this time.

A buffalo crossbow hunt would fill anyone's freezer for a yr. or more. Plus an over the top assortment of exotic trophy hunts.

Good job.

Hope it all comes together for any and all takers.

Had to look up the longhorn hunt. lol
