Broadhead Identification

Post by IronNoggin »

A buddy of mine was recently gifted some aluminum Tru Flight 2117s in 2 sizes, 31 1/4” and 30 1/4” all with 5” vanes.

A handful had some rather strange looking serrated three blade broadheads on them:

I have no idea who made these or how long ago, so couldn't help when he asked.

Anyone here have an idea??

Wondering...

I bet if you asked on the Tradgang.com forum, someone there could tell you. They look like late 70’s to early-80’s broadheads to me.

I am not a member there nor at all familiar with that site.

If anyone who is and could ask, I would be downright grateful!!

Thanks!

X 2. I was thinking along the same line. The screw on blade retainer and serrated blades look like something from the Allen brand that you could pick up at Walmart/K-mart for not much more than $10 US. Though I was thinking quite a few years back, perhaps mid-1990s.
