Hey Jansey - it has been 3 weeks now, any new observations on the ACP trigger?
It will not fall out once mounted to the bow!
That's the only observation I can make haha, I was down south for a couple weeks for family vaca. And haven't gotten back to it yet. But it did stay installed.
In all seriousness though, I know Billy has been doing some at home tests with his to try to combat some issues he was having. I won't speak for him, but I'm sure he will have some matrix/ACP feedback fairly soon.
I have been talking with Billy outside of the forum. Waiting for him to get his BD400 linkage repaired so he can do some fair testing. I just thought maybe you had a chance to get some more testing in.

Here are my observations with the ACP so far:
First of all I fully agree with Chris’s findings and will just be adding to his review with the exception of I have my ACP in the single stage setting. Simply put, this is the finest trigger I have ever felt in any crossbow. In my bd400 (with wallowed out linkage screw holes) there is absolutely ZERO creep and it breaks like glass. I also left the bow cocked for 12 hours on a newly served string and while there was some indentations from the latches they were not “v” shaped indentations that cause serving separation like I get from my trigger techs on this bow but 1/8 - 3/16” “u” shaped impressions that went away in 30 minutes. I have not shot it enough to speak on serving wear yet but will add more to this as I learn more. The safety is as near silent as I believe it can be manufactured while maintaining a positive lock as a safety should.
One thing I am already sure of is that I will be installing an ACP trigger in any bow I own until someone produces something better. IMO this is the finest crossbow trigger in production at this time.
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
Couldn't wait for the in-depth reviews, so I ordered one today for my BD400. Figured a good string deserves a good trigger. It'll be PB&J for lunch for awhile.

You won't regret it. We look forward to your thought and opinions.
Does the new acp trigger reduce the length of the pull or take up when squeezing the trigger? In the bulldog 400 that is... that is my biggest complaint about the stick trigger. Feels like I pull forever!!!

In single stage, there is no travel. Period
Billy can comment further as I have come to appreciate 2 stage
Okay, I get mine tomorrow. So do I go with the single or double stage setting? I only have single stage TriggerTechs on my other bows.
It will come setup for single stage and I think if you try it that way first you won’t even bother trying the two stage, at least that’s what happened with me.
