Best place to buy Matrix 380 parts

Post by F250-2 »

I am considering a purchase of a complete front (limbs, string, etc.) for my Matrix 380. Last fall just prior to deer season my buddy snapped a limb on his 380. Excalibur was super to deal with, and arrangements were made to quickly ship him a new front. However, if that happened on an out-of-state trip, having a spare front ready to bolt on, would be a trip saver. Any suggestions as to where to get the best price for one ? I am in the states.

You can buy blemished limbs for pretty cheap direct from Excalibur or Danny Miller.
You dont need to carry around the complete from end

FYI, replacing an entire front end (riser and limbs) will require you to rezero your bow as well. I’ve removed and then replaced the (same) riser several times on different Excaliburs with no zero change, but in my experience a different riser will shoot to a different Point of Impact.

I understand what you're saying. It's easier to detach the riser/limb assembly than just the limbs. If that's really what you want to do contact Danny Miller at Horizontal Archery in Sardis, Ohio or Excalibur directly.
However, replacing just the limbs is very fast and easy. There's less to pack around and a matter of removing and reattaching 6 fasteners instead of 2. It'll also cost a lot less. I've got a few extra factory blemished limbs as insurance and they all look great.

Thanks to each of you for your reply. I was considering the entire front, as that is what Excalibur shipped my friend last year when he snapped a limb.
