Silent Raffle for UPSMAN! Win a 360 TD!!!!

Post by Boo »

Ladies and gentlemen, Rob Dykeman, the president of Excalibur has generously donated a 360 TD for a silent raffle! Thank you Rob!

So what I have planned is that we will set the price of tickets and the number of tickets available by discussion with everyone here. Tickets will be bought by way of donation to the Gofundme campaign. The person donating will then send an email to Dennis/UPSMAN to corroborate the donation and that donation has to have a name not an anonymous donation. Dennis will then put a ticket with the donor's name on it and place it in a jar. When we've reached the predetermined number of tickets or a certain date, Dennis will draw the ticket (Boofest??). This will be open to anyone, not just forum members. I will guarantee the shipment to anywhere in NA so if Excalibur doesn't ship the bow, I will.

So first, does anyone have comments or questions about my plan? Any changes someone thinks is important? Nothing is written in stone.

How many tickets should be available? I suggest 100 but very much open to comments on that.

The price of tickets?? (in USD only) Any bonus buys for buying multiple tickets as in 5 for the price of 4???

Feedback from anyone and everyone please!

100 tickets sounds good
$20.00usd per ticket is fair
Buy 4 get 5

Sage advice from someone who has bought and sold so many bows! It might be good to hear from someone from the other end of the spectrum.
I was thinking $25.00 USD and 4 gets you 5 tickets. Anyone else? Please don't be shy about commenting.

I would really like to hear everyone's opinion on the price and number of available tickets. If I hear enough guys wanting the tickets to be $20.00, they will be $20.00. Should we make more tickets available?

I like the 20 clam hit Don, but will get in on it regardless.

For all involved, I would suggest doubling the number to 200 tickets.
Still represents very good odds, and will help even more as it is designed to...

for sure better odds but the proceeds are much more important than the prize. the more tickets available the more potential increase in proceeds.

$25 per ticket, limit of 200 sounds good; but whether it's 20 or 25 its a win win situation for the family being blessed. Count me in I will look for further instructions. Excalibur- you went above and beyond that is awesome.
