Post by drywallerdave1 »

How do you guys like your dr stirrup? I’m think of Putting one on my bulldog 400. My cold weather boots don’t fit in the factory stirrup and it’s a pain to cock in thw winter time. Thanks

I have a Dr. Stirrup on my 380BD. And I love it!
Although I don't seem to need to use it much after getting a charger crank aid.
I do still enjoy having it on for a steadier rest when shooting with it on a table.
Also like to use the Dr. Stirrup as a bow stand to keep it standing up right.
Just be cautious not to let it fall over forward and knock your scope out of tune. Been there. Done that!

I really like it on mine. If you are not using a crank, you get the advantage of it shortening your bow by about an inch, giving you another inch of pulling capability. You also get to plant both feet on the bow for pulling. I have one installed on all my bows, even the ones for the kids. Keeps their feet out of the stirrup in the event both they and I miss the fact that a bolt is still in the rail.

I just went with the oversized stirrup Excalibur sells. 27 bucks shipped. I am happy with it. Thanks
