Looking for a Harness

Post by Gwens Dilemma »

I know I should probably put this on buy and sell but figure it'll get more exposure here. Every once in a while I see a safety harness on this site. I'm looking for one. I'm at the age where I don't bounce like I did a lifetime ago. Thanks in advance for putting up with me. Dave

The HSS harness is comfortable with lots of pockets for storing small items. I am north of 80 & fell from a 16' stand because I was too dumb to wear a safety harness. Check out this HSS model. I now stay hooked up anytime my feet are off the ground.

X2 on the Hunter Safety System. I have an older model but I won't even get in a ladder stand without it. Super easy on and off, has lots of pockets, hooks in the back for dragging and hooks on the sides for footstraps to prevent suspension trauma if you ever do have a fall.

Yep the HSS is the way to go. The lifeline is a must for permanent setups. So fast it's easier to actually use it that the climb around it

I am on my 3rd HSS harness. The first two I gave to friends to care for their safety and give myself an opportunity to buy the newest HSS.

The newer HSS CROSSBOW HARNESS has been my favorite thus far.
- lighter
- thinner shoulder straps do dot interfere with your buttstock.
- easiest to put on in the dark
- lined handwarmer pockets
- and the best fearure I like is the zippered pocket to secure personal items.

I like my spider safety harness, it has a place to strap my range finder. I did buy a descent system but have not used it. It will lower me 20 feet in the event I fall and can’t get back in my stand.
