#9s In The House

Post by mr meat »

Walked into a garage sale this morning, there leaning up against a table was a Excalibur Vortex,no scope or Quiver and the string was relaxed.Picked it up and said to the lady what are you asking! $100: or make me a offer :eusa-think:  Just could not bring myself to make a offer!Had to get $40 from Kathy, paid the lady and left
Think I’m just going to flip it as I don’t think I need it but could not pass it up :D

That's awesome. I would just save it . For parts. The limbs alone are the same as your other bows as l see in your signature.

That is an awesome deal. Was it a “I am selling all your crap” divorce style yard sale?

I had a brand new 330 matrix given to me by a lady customer. I had my camo hat on and she asked me if l hunt......l thought she was like a peta bit_h. But she asked me if l wanted a "gun bow". It was her divorced husband's matrix 330. She was very well off and would not take a dime for it. I thank her because she introduced me to the excalibur crossbow....still have it .l killed many many deer with it.

That Vortex you picked up is a sweet bow it would be hard to let it go I would hang on to it.
I sold my Equinox to buy a used Matrix 350 and broke even on the deal . Then a few weeks later saw a Vintage carved tip Exocet with the right stuff package including a crank a roo for $200.
It was previously owned by a wheel chair bound hunter that had passed on and they were clearing out his things.
It is my back up bow and I like that it is a very early model with cool vintage camo.
