Folks is it normal if a matrix 380 string lengthens or rather gets closer to the pads about 1mm per day. Was shooting it on Sunday. The string when I took it out was hard against them. Tightened it to be about 4mm clear. Was still okay after the days shooting( about 20 shots). However noticed in the safe yesterday it had crept closer, and today now its almost touching the rubber again, less than 1 mm from them. This is the original factory string- has seen less than a hundred shots. Time for a new string? Or is this acceptable movement?

Totally normal. Set it higher (9-10mm)and shoot it a bunch, it will eventually settle in and you'll adjust less and less. Once it settles you can leave it at 4mm or whatever you prefer
