S5 Suppressors

Post by joel0711 »

I'm presently shooting an Exocet that started life as a carved limb model but I had it re-done with forward riser and molded limbs so it's basically an Exocet200. It's "naked" with no sound/vibration dampeners added. Shooting a fast flite flemish string; would S5 dampers lessen vibration to the point of making the extra weight valuable to carry?? THANKS Guys/Ladies

I won’t shoot any of my Excalibur bows without string stops! It helps reduce string oscillation after the shot thus reducing vibration and noise. Helps with string and limb life. Good luck!

They don’t have a very noticeable weight difference with them on the bow.

Yep s-5s with a dr stirrup bumper and a set of catwhiskers on string on any exo series bow quiets it down and makes it shoot like a different bow. No brainer.money well spent.

Came standard on my Equinox and I installed the S5s on the Vortex & Axiom. Makes checking BH easy peasy as I just set a 1/8" to 1/4" gap to the rubbers. Rotate the rubbers after several shots to prolong life.
