....not to mean to hijack this thread....but I have been shooting the 100g Spitfires (mechanical) and have loved them with not a real reason to change. They fly like FP's and one of the arguments has apparently been premature opening of the blades....I have never experienced it myself....they make a massive hole....
.....in order to compensate for potential premature opening of the blades (and again it has never happened to me) SEW has suggested dental rubber bands which I now use (belt and suspender approach)....Just my take on what I use!

Hope they come on in fer you. Once i get to Idaho to live n hunt i will have to go back to the fixed bladed B-heads to be legal there
Re: Magnus Black Hornet broadheads
Yeah. I had Slick Tricks on my arrows when I went there but only got one out of my quiver to make sure my bow shot alright. Man that was a bad trip. Had a horrible guide. Shame cause it was very beautiful where we were at.
Re: Magnus Black Hornet broadheads
They should be at the house now. They show delivered.

Broadheads came in!
Re: Magnus Black Hornet broadheads
The guys on Tradgang didn’t like them. I even had a thread pulled that was similar to this one cause a couple people said they were compound heads. I told them it has a picture of a compound, crossbow and recurve as recommended usage. Then it got yanked.
Re: Magnus Black Hornet broadheads
The Magnus Broad Head is not a serrated blade it is a chisel cut and they also come in smooth . I have worked with Mike at Magnus to see what combo works with our hi speed and powerful bows . you have to adjust your bows to the broadheads once you get set up they work very well . one of the good things about them if you brake them bend them in any way they will send you another with no questions asked as with all their heads . and they are not going out or selling to anyone . Mike is the owner and that is what he told me.

Re: Magnus Black Hornet broadheads
I have emailed Mike a few times he seems like a pretty stand up guy. I have to have my string about 1/8 of an inch from the bumpers to get them to shoot within an inch from my field points. This doesn’t really matter though because I rarely shoot field points because I don’t hunt with field points.
I thought about getting the two blade version but as little as the bleeders are I felt like they would still help with blood trails. I was disappointed last year that I didn’t get a complete pass thru with the Slick Tricks. Deer died really fast but at 20ish yards I would of expected it to blow right through the deer.
