My New Favorite

Post by xcaliber »

This fall I will be using the Micro 355, and Matrix 380 for most of my deer hunting. I just got the Charger EXT and this is a game changer! Due to the size of the Micro, it has moved to the number one spot on my list. Very happy! I finally decided to make a string, and went to my normal length of 26", but after removing the old string I decided to measure it on the pins as it was when removed, it is 25.5" with the Dr Stirrup string stops installed. I would not use any other stops after trying these out. Anyway, here is the Micro 355 ready to hunt! Come on October!

They sit higher and are meant to have the string in contact. With that they lower noise noticeably and are pretty much indestructable.

I have the charger XT on my micro 355 also, mine has moved up to the number one spot with the 380 as backup. The 350 will back up the 380 and the Vixen the 350.
I have issues  :D

....other than being made indestructible as opposed to the REDS....they provide additional sound dampening.... all Excalibur’s I’ve owned had been changed to the DrStirrup string stops

You mean Micro 340 something, right?  I have regrets about letting my 335 Micro 1st gen. go, but the 355 Micro is plenty good with the EXT on her now!

Good luck Jeff, have a great season!

Yes Joe I am. I also plan to hunt from a two man ladder stand, actually the boys are putting out 6 of them this year so we each have two options. Rock / Paper / Scissors for first pick when all 3 of us go out together. The Ghost will be in my truck locked in the bed for the entire season. Just in case I rather hunt the ground.

Good luck to you Joe, and thanks bud!
