Tact Zone, even though I swapped out I did use it a few times without any problems. I have had several Excalibur scopes with no issues with any. This is my favorite because you have illumination in both colors, and you have the option to not use the illumination which saves the hunt if your battery pukes, and you have no spare with you. It is bright with good glass, and for some reason it seems to have a nice field of view, it is 30 MM, but it still shows bigger to me. Anyway, it is a nice scope, and it did get an upgrade since I had mine in 2014.

..... I have favored the Leupold Crossbones which unfortunately Has been discontinued... I do have a couple extra which I am keeping in the fleet!

..... With the A360. ....I have gone on a different direction having chosen the Hawke XB-30 Compact... I like the illumination and the scope in general...

Is the illumination on the Tac-Zone supposed the be bright like a red dot sight or just bright enough to assist in low light situation? The lighting on mine disappears in day light.

I did say excalibur but others are welcome.i have thought about trying to find a crossbones or a nikon i like.

But .....
i thought i would try the best excalibur scope first. I may find i like it for my needs. And i could pick one up for a good price when im ready.

I am Buying a used bd330 and it has a strike zone on it. Im not sure how good
It is , but i know its off a styker .

i was just wanting to get the best excal scope to put on it. But had no clue which one it was.

Thanks for the input.

The last couple tactzones I had were really nice, crystal clear.
I do tend to actually favour the DeadZone do to its lighter weight and size.

I try to keep my bows as light weight, simple and compact as possible, so currently my 3 bows all wear Nikon Bolts. Also I do have a vision issue that makes the crosshairs of most scopes simply disappear. When Burris makes a crossbow scope(which the currently are not planning to) I will switch all three likely. As they are the only rifle scope I can use.

.... I saw a used Crossbones for sale on eBay... looks like mint condition... asking the same as new $229.00 plus shipping... if I was looking for one I would buy it... no illumination though.

This is my all time favourite illuminated scope that I use on a crossbow! Lol

Favorite Excal scope is either a Tactzone100 or the Twilight DLX, because they bring more $$$ when I sell them to buy a Leupold😎😎

Looks like its going to be the tact zone or the cross bones.
Is the tact zone more compact?

I have said this a hundred times, the Excalibur scopes are feature rich, but quality poor. The warranty however is bullet proof. Yes, you can find better at a higher cost in most cases, but the original post didn't ask for our favorite scope, it said Excalibur Scope. My favorites are the Nikon Bolt, or the new replacement model, or the Redfield Revenge Crossbow. I had the Crossbones, and it is nice, but not for me. I have plenty of Leupold on guns, so it's not a brand thing, just that I like a quick eye line up on archery equipment for close up shots. :eusa-popcorn:
