TAC Bracket Short ... anyone using one on their Micro/Assassin?

Basically, the title says it all. If you are using one, how well does it fit and stay in place? Any issues with it loosening up etc?

.... according to the Excalibur website under accessories... the TacPac short will fit the A360... I had one on my Matrix 380 and Micro 335... never loosened on those CB’s... conceptually it sounded great to have but I found it was more of a PITA than what it was worth.... also I found that it hanged how the bow is balanced.... I’m sure some will chirp in that it’s “the Cats meow”... for me the added weight and the balance was what made me change....

... in fact, if I can find a few of the parts mine will hit the trading post...

Thanks Anthony, I have been using the original Tac Pac for several years on my Matrix bows, and personally I like them. However, the new short style bracket is my only concern, with such an amount of metal milled away and the sling nut being there I just wanted to make sure it fit well to my older Tac Pac, or if I should modify my old one somehow to work.

I have one on my Micro . It allows me to attach my camera on the bow as well as the quiver is why I did it .
As for your concern about the sling stud . There is a lot more meat on the bracket than on the mainframe .

....Kevin...can you post a picture of your rig with the tac pac short and camera?....that would be the ONLY reason I would reconsider it’s use!

Jeff the carnivore uses black. Lol. Seriously l was actually looking into the tac cam this is all good info.
All this tec stuff has its price to pay in one way or another.
A friend bought the ozone machine............after 2 weeks he grew real tired of hauling it back n forth wasn't worth the weight of itself but it did definitely work.
I found a shower and clean clothes work pretty good too.

I have my quiver bracket on one side and the straightened out quiver bracket on the other side . That way I can view the camera from my side . The downside was the camera is upside down . So you have to flip it in editing . My remedy to that was to mount a bracket on a Munch mount .

Thanks, I am talking about the Tac Bracket short though. Like this one, I have the regular bracket, but it will not work on my Assassin.

Truth be known I thought I had the short one on the Micro . But when I pulled it out I was wrong .
