Local craigslist had a gentleman that got a new assassin and no longer needed this awesome almost new vortex .....@ $225.00 with a case included l was hooked....on a steel leader....with 100 lbs braid.
I'm gonna sight it in and let my taxidermy friend use it this season. ....he is in denial and kinda doesn't realize that he is just not the Robinhood with his bow that he once was. I think this is the "push" he needs. Lol

Definitely a great bargain Joe! I’m sorry that I sold my Vortex when I bought that BD380! I sold the BD380 and bought my Exomax with a Hawke scope and fully loaded with accessories! I’m sticking with the Exo series crossbows because they can’t be beat!

Like I mentioned before great buy  !
Looking at the planed up grades I thought what would I change and keeping in mind I like to keep a good deal a good deal .
The first thing I would do is loose the front limb bumpers a lot of weight in the wrong place for not a lot of Benefit in my opinion., it has a good set of string stops I would save my money their, vortex came with a Lumi zone scope standard which if the bow is just a back up I could live with but I also would look for a good scope deal and then act but no hurry their and a set of steel rings.
I never thought for shooting 30 or so yards that I needed a better trigger than what came from the factory they are pretty decent and deer are fairly big and shooting bulls eyes are no problem with the factory trigger ,I would add a ADF for the peace of mind with the money
I have no need for a bigger stirrup but would wrap mine with inner-tube rubber.
Optimizer never interested me I feel it more of a handi cap and more weight ,get a range finder if you do not have one and pre range land marks instead.
I shoot my bows with no silencers but have nothing against them but would spend that money on an arrow squaring tool if you do not own one it goes a long way to tighten groups when you make your own bolts.
The only other thing I would change after the factory string has run is life is a costume string.
Summery
ADF
scope when the great deal comes along with steel rings
Custume string
range finder and arrow squaring tool in not owned all ready.
All this is what I would do to make me happy and keep things a bargain of course every one has what is important to their preferences and their all just fine.
