Exo Bull

Post by Carnivorous »

Now for something crossbow hunting related!!!!!!

Local hunter takes a beauty bull with an Exo series bow.

Can you believe that an old wide and slow bow was capable of taking down a moose? Lol

I believe it but not familiar with the older bows, whats the story on the equipment used and hunt details are always good. One of my bucket list hunts the other is brown bear. But got a feeling I'll be six foot deep in the bucket dreaming of them. God forbid I'd get a terminal illness but if it happens I'm hittin up the CC, I figure after all these years MasterCard owes me a bull. :wtf:

Any Excalibur model can take down a moose.

I also believe that the record archery moose for Ontario was shot with a 150lb vixon.

That's an awesome moose......what's not awesome is gutting, skinning, boning, and packing that behemoth through that tangle of buck brush they're in!!! ....although it would be a labour of love.

Too funny Paul, before I even took in the pic I noticed wet fur and thick brush. Darn Swamp Donkeys.

I love the older Excalibur bows! I own a brand new Exomax and a brand new Vixen II! I’ll be using these bows till I can no longer hunt anymore. I tried the new BD380 and sold it off and bought the Exomax and put the rest of the money in the bank! I’ll never need another crossbow! 😉

Paul, are you volunteering to "slug" out the moose ...... if you are, I bet many invites will be coming your way

I am too old for that carrying stuff, but I will gut, skin, and quarter (or fifths if really large).

I don't know these guys but they are from Essex County. The bow is an exomax.
