Anyone shot 20" bolts from a grizzly or other bow that runs 18" bolts?

My nephew has shot 20" Bolts(Easton 2219 aluminum) arrows from his Grizzly. Used his 18" bolts that came with the Grizzly to sight in his bow. Told him to try my 20" arrows to see if there was any difference. Shot out to 50 yards with no difference. Lucky he tried my arrows because he forgot his arrows on opening day(last year). Never saw any deer but was confident he could shoot 1 with the 20"bolt.

I just made up some 20" for my M 355, and made these heavy weight, as with a 125 gr. broadhead come in at 555 gr. Now I made these so I had something that would work for Bear or Elk. Knowing they will work for these, I know they will work on Deer.
Also through my testing, I can shoot 125, 150, 175 gr.arrows into the same hole. Also with heavier heads these shot the same hole as follows, 200 & 225 gr., 250 & 275 gr. & 300 right under these.
This is what I found worked for me, and might not work the same for you. You need to do your own testing.

I used 20 inch with my Grizzly, just makes it a little hard to handle in tight quarters. Made some 18 inch aluminum with 170 heads. Suprised the verticle remained the same but the horizontal was off 2 inchs at 20 yards!

I would go with shorter arrows personally. I use 17” for Matrix 380 with excellent results. Like said, you can use the 20” but you will be hanging over the stirrup.

They work great out of my BD400, noticably more accurate even at 40yds. For the Bulldog 400 there is plenty of room under the stirrup to go even longer if you want, not sure how much shorter the rail on your bow is. Sticking out the front doesn't even seem like much of an issue if you also hunt with a vertical bow where the arrow sticks out 2 feet! I am using Bloodsport Witness arrows with 3" vanes, they are 0.003" but weigh within 0.2 grains of each other in a 6 pack! The 4" vane version are not as consistent in weight or accuracy.
