2nd Grandson kills a doe

Post by Hester0305 »

My 12 year old grandson Cameron bagged himself a nice doe yesterday with a Micro 335 and a FOC broadhead. He was with his Dad at their house when 8 does came in and he picked him out a big one. He made a great shot, the doe didn't make it 50 yards. I have 3 grandson's and we're bringing them up hunting, fishing and camping and we hope they do they same thing with their kids when they get older to carry on the experiences of the Great Outdoors. Paw Paw is proud of another one.

.....Congratulations to your grandson....I looked at the shot placement and it was darn good....His Paw Paw must have learned him well....It always warms my heart when i see the youngens step up to the plate and hit the first pitch out of the park.....

Congrats! Its awesome to see kids harvesting deer with crossbows. It may be a better option for a first deer than using a gun. You have to get up close and personal with the deer and recoil is less of a concern.

Congrats to your 2nd on his doe! Teach them young!

Best way to keep young people going in the right direction. Hunting, fishing, and good guidance.
Well Done

Thanks everyone, my grandson's are learning a lot about the outdoors and their a pleasure to teach and educate them with all the things I've been taught and learned myself over the years about the outdoors.
