Equinox set up

Post by flinthead »

Got my new to me Equinox yesterday...

Crazy thing was the trigger was apparently bent just a touch, causing the bow not to latch the string. I called Danny Miller, who we all know is awesome by the way, to figure out what the heck was going on. After a few taps from a block of wood and a hammer, everything is working properly. Danny thinks the previous owner was pulling on the trigger with the safety engaged.

This bow is so fast, I'm going to do something I've wanted to do for a while, set up a 25 yard zero with a standard crosshair scope. I have a Simmons Pro Diamond 4x32 that should work out perfect! The bow really shoulders and balances well... I think it's going to be a killer!!

Congrats. I've had my beast almost ten years now. She still shoots just as good as the day I bought it. When I start slowing down from age, I will get the barrel cut shorter to Ibex size. Have fun, shoot safe,
Hank
