First hunt in a while

Post by xcaliber »

Up & getting ready, feels good to get out. Hope to get in the woods a good few times this year. Last year was very hard on me, and only getting one hunt in scared me. Anyway, hope to have some good luck, good luck to all this season!

Thanks for the good wishes, we hunted until noon and saw deer all morning. I had a doe with fawn at about 7:30 but let mama and her baby walk. Then around 9:40 had a small fork horn at 8 yards, couldn’t do it, just felt better letting him skate. All in all had a blast just being out.
