If shipping internationally, taxes should not be added, since the buyer would be responsible to pay any duties and taxes applicable in their Country or State/Province. If Al's is adding taxes they shouldn't be.

Hi welcome the the forum the 340 Axe is a great choice in a cross bow a good value and plenty fast enough for hunting.
You should introduce your self in a fresh post this one has kind of run its course just go to new topic.

why would someone dish out the extra coin for the 335 Micro now that the 340 Axe is released, I'm confused...!?

335 will likely be phased out if it's not being already. Last year they cancelled the nightmare version.

I bought my Axe from Wyvern creations and paid no tax and no shipping they are based in New Hampshire .
