Not only Wisconsin all hunters everywhere should be aware and be careful as the article says it's happened in France. I hope they catch these @#o!ۤ lock them up and throw away the key to rot!

I had 4 stands cut with a battery operated sawzall. Two of these were heavy duty 20' ladderstands. Not much I can do about it. Thieves and vandals all a part of hunting in today's world.

Riflemanz ur hunting private land if I remember right? Trail cams high in trees pointed down at stands might give cops some clues.

That's how I caught a camera thief on public land. He couldn't of posed better if he tried with my camera in his hand. Gave the pic to the Game Warden. He had been on their radar for poaching. My pic with the compliant gave them all they needed for a search warrant. Cost him a $1,500.00 fine after they found poached deer on his property. They also confiscated the venison and the antlers he had. This idiot had a very bad day!!

The funny part of it is that one of his friends folded and snitched on him under questioning. He gave them the guy's address, etc. Some friend!! The Game Wardens are excellent interrogators!!

After the Game Wardens were done with him I reported the theft to the Sheriffs Department. The Game Wardens then turned the case over to them. Never heard what happened but the Sheriff did tell me he would have to appear in court over it.

I'm not going to be a victim!!

I was talking to a buddy a few weeks ago and he told me when he checked his stands 3 of them had been tipped over. His stands are all homemade tower stands with cables took 4 guys to put them up they must have really had to work hard to get them knocked over. I told him they couldn't be anti's as no liberal would have worked that hard !
