OMG! 325# draw. I thought my Micro harnessed a lot of energy. Thank god for the Charger. I kind of wish they would show the weight as equipped. My Micro 335 is very light until I add 3# of well built accessories and that doesn't include the Charger.

I've had the itch for a 400fps bow, but never imagined I could get it in a Micro.

watched the videos.im sure the limbs will be just fine. not sure why they think being able to take down a bow is a feature everyone wants. i never even think of it although on long trips i keep a broken down Mega 405 for backup. i find putting it together not an issue. the weight of those 400 models is too much for me. the 340 break down model is a great idea but they need to put an adjustable stock on that model and overall shave weight on all the models. the weight figures are for bare bows so when everything is slapped on it becomes a workout.

.....

1. I am NOT a fan of the take down feature. To me it serves no real purpose...but that's me....also, I find that although the connection to the rail is rock solid, the stirrup is NOT and not that it rattleS but it is not solid as the screw on stirrup.

2. I hope that A. when limbs do break on the 'micro's that Excalibur will replacement with the "new technology" limbs....and B. also, if one wants to buy a second set of limbs, that the one's they get are the "new technology" limbs.

The Axe is still the one I would be interested in , it is a much better value has almost the same speed as my 350 matrix and would be smaller in size I think I will wait a year or so and pick up a used Axe at a bargain price.

The micro 340 take down looks interesting . I already have the Axe don't need or want another it does everything I need it to do and my backup is the 308 short so I think I am all set .

I think the main purpose is for easier travel. Crossbows take up a disproportionate amount of room in a truck and if you travel with more than 2 in a truck it can get crowded. But other than that I don't see a reason for it either.

I'm also not all about the super fast bows. The 340TD is the only one I would consider from this new lineup. But with a Micro 335 and a 355 SUpressor that wouldn't be all that different for me.
