First Use of The Hawk Crawler
The kid got a big doe this morning, dressed weight was 161 pounds. We had about .5 mile hike out, and this thing made it pretty easy! The kid was very impressed to say the least, glad I picked it up. I got skunked this morning, one small button buck is all i saw.

Congratulations to him!!
Nice cart. I dragged the little 4 point about 200 yards or so and was getting winded. I need to learn to slow down and not go so fast. My dad always use to get on me about that.

I'll tell him in the morning. My buddy called me about this picture since I texted it to him. He said I see deer tracks and one bean stalk in this picture, where are you? I told him that we have this farm to hunt on today & tomorrow. The farmer has two bean fields still up. We have been trying to lease this place for a while now, and we might just get our wish. Everything I have is crossed, including the Wife!

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler
Norm, we tied a rope to support her head, and that position on this cart seemed to work best. We tried like 3 different ways. After this position, she never moved even while rubbing on trees on the hike out. This is the game changer, no doubt.

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler
I did the same. Did you guys try pushing? like a lawn mower?

We pushed it empty, but found that loaded was easier pulling.

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler
Congrats on the doe I'm sure ya'll had a great hunt. Looks like the deer cart did its job. I was able to put mine to use last weekend and it made hauling my doe out a lot easier than dragging. I was so glad I had purchased mine this year for sure.

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler
One of the guys over on CT used a mesh seat to support the head.
Looked like a good set up so I ordered one too.
