Sevr Broadheads

Post by deerman41 »

I just ordered some Sevr 1.7 AP broadheads on sale for $7.19 each. Does anyone using these like their performance? I had bad experience with expandables before but have not tried rear expanding ones.

At that price I hope they are not Chinese knockoffs..anyway I always use mechanicals. I like Grim reapers, NAP Spitfire Maxx and Rampage Traumas. 3 blade for me. A few bad experiences with anything 2 blade

I'm sure they'll do fine. I ordered the 2.1 to try but when I put them next to my 3 inch NAP FOC broadhead I could see the difference in the 2 broadheads. I ended up staying with the FOC's because I'd had such great luck with them. The FOC's are 170 gr. but they're like hitting one with an axe.

I sold they Sevr's to a guy who had been using them on CT with great success. Good luck I'm sure they'll meet your needs

I shoot’em, my buddies shoot’em. We all kill and like them. No failures as of yet. Buy them on their website.

Is it true they are made in CHINA? This has been mentioned on a few other forums.

Just got em today, will sight in tomorrow morning, hunt the afternoon. I like you can site in with actual head by putting in a set screw to keep them shut.

It says on package assembled in Taiwan. I sighted in and they were hitting exactly where my field points were, all other broadheads I've used were always a little deviation from field points. I killed a small buck for the freezer that afternoon at 55 yards, dead on where I aimed, deer was relaxed feeding. Before someone gets on me for taking that long of a shot, I practice out to 60 yards and am confident I can make it.

How was the penetration at 55 yards? Was not a pass through, hit opposite shoulder, made big entry hole. Ran about 50 yards, I would post pic but too much trouble on this site, have pic on CBN under broadheads Sevr 2.1 first kill.
