Back a couple of years ago l was putting a double insert in my 2219s l would shave the shoulder off of a insert and put a 40 grain countersink screw in it glue it in then insert the reg. Insert .l think l was getting about a hundred grains total......lt worked great but I'm sorry after all that a 2219 will never shoot better than a zombie

I was a easton distributor at one time l love easton products. I would shoot the Fmj's they have heavy brass inserts available and are pretty tough...but pricy.

Ok thanks guys I was just trying to make some small game arrows.Losing or breaking spinal taps just plain sucks.

If you shoot a micro you could get two shafts out of a 2219 reg bow shaft that would be cool.
The 2219s would be fine for small game didn't know your purpose.

Contact Ethics Archery. Cost was about $15 per dozen. If I were you, do so soon. Because when theses inserts are gone. There will not be any more of them. Theses Inserts are discontinued... I was told this by the rep, at Ethics... Good luck
