Iced up rail

Post by ko4nrbs »

My arrow froze to the rail on my Exomax this morning. The freezing rain did it. Glad I noticed it and got it all cleaned off. Would of blown up in my face!!

This is why I carry a clean rag in a ziplock bag sprayed good with silicone spray.

May need DeIcer!!

Bill

....almost sounds like what happens to the leading edge of an aircraft wing.....I think these BOWS should come equipped to HIKIC ....hunt in known icing conditions! :eusa-doh:

I was hunting in the freezing rain Sunday and wondering about the ice myself. Must have had enough lube on the rail because only a few droplets formed and they brushed off with no effort. I did rub down my arrows with 'arrow release' fluid when I got home JIC.
