This is my new 1920s era improved model 6 remington rolling block .22 rifle.
Bought it from an elderly friend who is 92 years old got it used when he was 10. I'm really honored to have it.
Very well used but l shot it today at 30 yards got a one inch group first time shooting I'm loving this little thing
Gonna get me some squirrels for sure.Everything functions as new very light but crisp trigger.People used these things for food back then lol

I had one and really enjoyed it too until a 'good' friend of mine stole it and never gave it back says his father got rid of it. As the saying goes friends like that who needs enemies!

That is a beautiful tool you got there congratulations on the buy.
I have a very old Remington model 12 pump.22 with a tang peep sight that is a real joy to hunt squirells with.
I shoot standerd velocity long rifle or subsonics just to be easy on the action and I refrain from using it in winter or rain to protect the original finish but I do use it it's one of my prised positions

I saw one at an auction awhile back and it said on the barrel " 22 short " so I assumed that was all you could shoot in it. Fine looking rifle Joe I would have liked to have the one I saw but my pockets were not near deep enough to get it.

If I got my hands on one of those or anything similar, I would be one happy puppy! Congratulations! Great find!
