O/T Quarantine Day #3

Post by janesy »

We had a family member do a little grocery shopping for us while we were away, since we can't shop ourselves. Very thankful for that.

We asked for a pack of hotdogs for when we are burnt out and don't want to cook for the kids. Just found this in the Fridge  ! I did not the know this was a thing,
Looks like I'll be bringing the hotdogs for BooFest

Hotdogs sold in 1.5 KG packs! Cats is actin' like Dogs and Dogs is actin' like Cats!

Funny...ever since the age of 19 I could not eat a hotdog in a bun and keep it down. Tried one at Costco one year ago and same thing.

WE started our self-quarantine when we got home on Monday and our neighbours and kids have been great. For the first time ever my wife went grocery shopping online from the local Zehrs and then our daughter delivered it for us.....set the bags on the porch, ran the doorbell and stepped back about 15'. Among other things, she ordered 4 bananas.......we got 4 bunches of bananas......she's now making banana and chocolate chip muffins.

I may go out into the field Tuesday for some Social distancing with the 22-250 and see if Mr. Coyote wishes to play.

Personally I find it disturbing when I watch the news and see the videos of all the people that are NOT practicing social distancing. It is because of people like that that this thing will continue for a lot longer then necessary.

Stay safe and stay healthy everyone. Hopefully this will be over soon.

The schools in our area have been closed now for over a week, it's play time for all the kids in the neighborhood. Drive by the parks, they're full, basketball courts, full, our cul-de-sac, full of kids! You would think their parents have more sense, but nope!
