My granddaughter is my favorite person to hang around by far. Watching her discover things is one of the greatest joys in my life.

Well I have enjoyed a life time of hunting, fishing, shooting, reloading, gardening, when I was a young boy I used to snare rabbits to eat.
Now my most precious hobby I consider gifts from God. I am sharing a little video, we now have 2 but you’ll get the idea.

Wayne my daughter is around the same age as the little one in the video. She scares the crap out of me on a daily basis.
That was taken in 2018 before her 3rd birthday she is now 41/2 going on 34 lol. She is doing grade 1 math and starting to print 3 and 4 word sentences just by sounding out words. She sounds out and spells words and sounds out words she sees phonetically. I’m really scared as well. Pay back for my Daughter lol. The younger one 1 1/2 is now forming sentences and is on the same track. I’m petrified having 2 of them smarter than their Papa lol.
I love them.

A little gold prospecting is fun but serious guys can spend a lot of time and cash on epuipement.

Lots of places to just go collect a couple buckets of samples. Label them and pan later.
A friend of mine says you spend a lot of money,to buy stuff to find gold, then spend more money, to buy more stuff to find gold.
My hobby is crappie fishing

Yes thank you. I love that coop, very expensive but very easy to keep clean. I move it every 2 days from May til November. I built the 8x10 A frame to give the hens more room. I also free range them a couple of hours per day.
We are waiting for new pullets they won’t be ready until June. Here are the eggs from the Easter Egger hens I used to have.

The white eggs are store bought extra large for comparison.

It's VERY addictive! Found this on a river bank about 35-40 years ago. Can't walk anywhere anymore without looking down!! :D

My late Father-in-law had thousands of arrowheads, points, drills, pestles. You name it!! At his passing, it was divided up between his kids and grandkids, with a "certain" son-in-law being given some select pieces before his passing!! :D
Native American stuff is too cool!!

I enjoy getting up with the chickens to hunt or fish then coming home at 11 or noon and maby cut the lawn or get a chore done ...consuming 2 beers. Then taking an hour or so nap and simply start the day all over again .lts a great pattern for the dog days of summer.

Beautiful python without a doubt.
Thanks for the kind words!

Green Trees are without a doubt my favorite. I've kept all kinds. Even "hot" (venomous) stuff.
After the grandkids came along, I got rid of the "hots". Not taking any chances with them. :eusa-naughty:
The gal in the pic is a Manokwari locality type animal.

Besides hunting and fishing, what else is there to do in Canada? Hockey! I played goal competitively and played 4-5 times a week as an adult. But as my kids got into hockey about 5 years ago, I started volunteering as a goalie coach and one thing led to another and now I run a goalie school that trained 175 athletes last season. Crazy how it took off. I basically have 2 full time jobs now, (and I love them both), so there isn’t as much time for my outdoor pursuits but I make hay when the sun shines.
