A beautiful virus day in south east pa.
I got done early from work as usual...during virus times and asked my youngest to go Turkey scouting and fishing and was expecting a nawww...but to my surprise she said yes . You see she is my animal lover and never wants to harm anything ...l guess it passed...dunno.
But we had some gobble backs on the call that was awesome and caught a couple of decent bass to boot.
AND....everything was ok because we promptly let the bass go unharmed even got a let's go again soon.
Basically a win for now I'm happy ..its the little things when your a dad!

Yes very nice for her to take part. I wish my daughter would have gone. Here’s hoping the granddaughters will. Maybe this virus will bring families closer and many may realize what’s really important.

Love seeing picks with the kids, I unfortunately have none with my girls, not their thing. I got my granddaughter to work on now!

I'm a lucky man in that department. I was brought up hunting and fishing in Arkansas and have brought both of my kids up the same way. My daughter is serious when she heads outdoors. My son-in-law quickly learned that he'd always be bringing home the smaller harvest. When they were dating, she called him off of his tree stand on opening day to come help her drag out a big 8pt. He knew up front what he was getting into.

Great photos with your daughter.

My daughter is 7 and I can no longer fish alone, if she knows I’m fishing she’s coming. She doesn’t fish the whole time, she brings her doll or a book, but she loves to be on the boat with me. It’s funny because when my kids were very young I used to fish to get away and take a break from the chaos and of course my wife gave me a hard time if I fished too often. But I can go anytime I want if I bring the kids with me!

When they get older they go out with mom "shopping " for special occasions etc . For hours .
You will have lots of time to fish n hunt ... you will see.
Now l wish they would want to go more they ditch me.
