New Member from Maine

Post by Hatchet »

New to the forum wanted to thank Peter for getting my registration sorted out. I have found the information on this forum to be very helpful the last few months especially since the pandemic shutdown. I learned how to make a string stretcher and re-serve my own strings plus maintenance items like loc-tite on screws.

I purchased an Excalibur Axe at Wyvern Creations last fall and have been very happy with it. I have it set up for turkey season with the Magnus Bullhead broadheads and Slick Trick Mags. Youth day is May 2 and I have one youth hunter in the house. She got a nice jake last year on youth day and is excited to try again. This year I have 3 crossbow hunters and 2 shotgun hunters. With school cancelled indefinitely we will be able to spend a lot more time in the woods.
I would like to thank all the people that share there experiences here from crossbow hunting and cooking to the nasty virus I look forward to reading your posts.

Take care out there
Hatchet

Welcome to the forums. I see your from Maine. I’m right next door in New Brunswick. I thank the great people of Maine for sending the wild Turkeys across the boarder. New Brunswick will someday have a wild Turkey season.
Cheers
