Hunting show pet peeves!!

Folks, folks, you are watching the WRONG hunting shows.

For real, honest to goodness, REALITY hunting, watch Steven Rinella in his Meat Eater series.

I do enjoy Stenns shows. He very much reminds me of a former member here, now deseased.

I agree. I kind hate the shows that seem to scream "Look at me and see what I did". I like to learn more info from them than the bragging. What I have always hated is when I get back home from hunting and people would ask "What did you kill?" I've said many times here on this forum , "Theres more to hunting than just killing. Harvesting a animal is just a bonus."

Maybe check out the book, "A Look At Life From A Deer Stand" by Steve Chapman. You might like it

Being in NC now and hunting these southern deer...........Canadian Whitetail makes me think I'm hunting some kind of miniature subspecies! HAHA!

Those are some big big deer up there.

Haha! I hear ya, when I'm flying down 95 through Georgia in the minivan every March I can't believe the deer hiding behind the guardrails in the dark.

You guys just have to aim smaller that's all

The first time I hunted here, I was watching a field edge. When the first deer popped out I thought it was a yearling. Then the yearling stepped out. I was used to those big 'ol corn and soybean fed Ohio deer
