Of all the 5 Excaliburs I've owned and still own 3. BD400 and 420 TD. This is the only Excal doing this. 30 shots on the string if that since I bought this bow when they first came out. In one year it stretches right to the riser while stored. Junk string?
I can't get post img link to work. Not sure which link to copy.

Bad string material. I’d suggest you buy a custom Flemish string from www.Boocustomstrings.com! The best string made for Excalibur bows! His strings usually stop stretching after 20-30 shots. Good luck!

All my matrix and BullDog eat servings unless I replace with a Trigger Tech.longbow joe wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 2:49 pmThe micros eat servings and the high pound models stretch strings .

I like endless loop for speed. Would a custom endless loop stretch any less than a Flemish? How much FPS do you lose with the Flemish?

The most I ever lost is 5 FPS, and didn’t notice any significant change in POI out to 50 yards.

Re: Forever string stretching... 405
I would agree. Flemish strings of good quality will stretch minimal to settle then pretty much
stop. I dont think you could tell if any speed was lost. And it might be only a couple fps. Sometimes none.
And there are a few real good stringtwisters on here. Like Boo, Vixenmaster, Deerboy, etc.

It is pretty easy to polish the latches on a crossbow to fix them and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new trigger. Crossbows do not eat servings, rough latches do.bigrak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 4:21 pmAll my matrix and BullDog eat servings unless I replace with a Trigger Tech.longbow joe wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 2:49 pmThe micros eat servings and the high pound models stretch strings .

I have also seen people who use their teeth (my brother in law) to turn off the Lumenock....this not only is bad for your teeth but also can put a rough spot on the Lummy. When the bow is cocked, the rough spot rubs against the serving and starts eating at it.robertyb wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:02 amIt is pretty easy to polish the latches on a crossbow to fix them and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new trigger. Re: Forever string stretching... 405
Never tried but I've always been leery of any grit particles getting inside the trigger and you're not supposed to take it apart to remove the latches. That would be ideal.robertyb wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:02 amIt is pretty easy to polish the latches on a crossbow to fix them and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new trigger.
