Post by GrassyKnoll »

Hey guys lets post up our cam pics for this season....

I put out a camera 3 days ago with some corn and apples and these two decent bucks showed up.

Post your cam pics... "postimage" is a very simple site to upload to and then coppy the "Hotlink for Forums" and paste it in your post.
copy this link and paste it into your browser to take you to the site... https://postimages.org/

Some people have to use "postimage.cc" for it to work, don't know why but I'm one of those.

Your season looks very promising grassy. Back before mid-June, I was getting photos of almost nothing but bucks. Then the doe dropped their fawns and that's about all I'm seeing ever since. I know the bucks are around, but I haven't caught a good picture in a month. Here is the best picture I had before the bucks disappeared.

He's had a month to grow since the photo so he should be much better now. I believe this is the buck that last year was a mainframe 8pt with dual split brows. He's #1 on my hit list until something comes along to dethrone him.

I use Postimage but on this forum I have to use the Direct Link to get the pictures to post. The Hotlink for Forums will not work for me on this site. It does on all the other forums though.

That is a thumbnail pic BTW.

I'd catch it with my muskie net and teach it to rake my lawn for deer treats!

Will a Cell-Link pic transfer over as an attachment?

I beleive the pic must be hosted by another site other than this forum.. Not sure but I don'y think this forum supports image hosting per say, meaning an image must be uploeaded to an image hosting site then copy the URL here to post the image.

Good question and I did not even try. :eusa-deadhorse:
I was on my laptop and did not even think about my phone. I should be able to save it to my Gallery and then transfer it to Postimage. :P

I agree but I had to try because they do have the attachment button and it did take me to the pic and it came over but will not appear as a pic when posted.

For more yrs. than I care to admit to!

Never liked shooting spikes or yearlings.

Mainly because , one of my first times during the butchering of a very young calf elk. I noticed compared to an older mature elk. The muscles of the young animal were basically sinew. Meaning nothing there to eat or process.

I'm not really a trophy hunter but look for a mature 3 yrs old minimum.

I agree fawns aren't thought of as food .

Thread made me get some cams out
