Just got one this year and am really excited to use it. I know it will be a game changer for me especially late season when the vegitation is gone and there is not much to hide behind.

I love the ghosblind it really excels when you can back up to a downed tree or hedge row where you dont have to worry about your back .l like making the shooting ports a tad bigger with a dremel.
Go on YouTube...lots a good info.

This is one of my ghosblind bucks .lt was very memorable he came in right at me and was actually gonna run right into the blind lol. The matrix 355 and a big expandable and a now favorite for a straight on deer (throat shot )made an easy recovery.
After this buck l was stoked and very confident about the ghosblinds ability .....confidence is everything as we all know
I believe l have 7 kills with it now. I love the treestand but it's just another tool in the hunting toolbox.

One important time saver I learned is to scrap the tie down hooks and rope ....simply leaning a 4 foot dead fall branch on each end is totally sufficient at keeping it steady in even a strong wind also adds to the mirror effect.

Well I got a nib phantom blind with 2 extra tops.

$125. At a yard sale.

Just finished food plots and setting up extra cams. Relocated tripod stands. Total pain! Cutting new shot lanes.

Now deer got 30 days to get use to changes

I also have mobility issues I started using them after Longbow Joe filled me in . You will find places to use them . Works great where you can't put a popup also works when used running and gunning . First time I used it had a few antlerless deer walk right up to me not to mention coyote . You won"t go wrong !

You will love it, like said you can disappear in front of brush or on field edges quickly and quietly.

I wish they made a 6 panel preditor ....more coverage for me the phantom is too small in height and the preditor is too tall

I’ve seen that DIY video ( I think he called it Casper Blind) and evaluated materials, cost and time. First the ghost blind is made of a heavy thick coroplast which is nearly impossible to find and if you do it’s expensive, the thin coroplast won’t do it, it’s too fragile and flexible. Add in the cost of paint, tape and tools to cut you’re better off buying one, every now and then they go on sale. Btw I really like mine just be careful where you place it ex: sun path.
