Had to thin the stock

Post by xcaliber »

Yesterday I was working on a project in my garage and had to move a bunch of stuff to get some tools out, and said to myself, this is enough. So I added two more projects to my list, hopefully before fall I’ll get them done. Anyway, my neighbor has two young boys that hunt with him, and he alternates taking them because they share a crossbow, well not anymore! I gave them my Matrix 330, and went over everything twice with their father. I feel real good about it knowing I’m gonna hear some good stories for a while, and she ain’t collecting dust in the garage. I’ll update signature later, gotta run. Installing sprinkler system today after I pour a cement pad for a solar lamp post! Going to give my 380 to my hunting partner soon, then I will have room for another Axe!

Good going Dan!!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

The younger boy started hunting last year and got a little doe, the older boy is 9, got a nice doe last year and a 28 pound turkey this spring. He wants to go shoot farther than 20 yards, driving his dad nuts!

Image[url=https://postimg.cc/GBfYYCgm]Image Got a good day in on the yard projects. Finish burying the swing pipe, or funny pipe in the morning, then drill my cement for the lamp post! Good thing I get cheap labor from my nephew, and son in laws!

Yep, just couldn't see selling that bow for $300. to someone when it'll mean a lot more than that to one of them boys. The older one yaps with me all the time about his adventures, he goes frog gigging with his dad at night, and thinks it's the bomb, I must have heard the story of when he took his turkey in to the taxidermist 20 times now, and we're in a darn pandemic! Tells me he had the largest bird in there at that times out of 9 birds, it was the opening day of youth turkey! He says, right dad, right. I absolutely dig hanging around in the garages with the whole lot of them, Mom is pretty cool too.

My wife and I are taking that verse about getting your house in order pretty seriously lately. :D
