what to do now

have 355 matrix with guardian, HHA optima and Luepold 2-7x shotgun scope. Am out of down adjustment on scope as I try to sight in. What do I do?? thanks in advance!!!

Check to make sure the scope is mounted correctly, if so, make sure the ring height is medium height.

have taken all off , remounted and have medium mounts. still am 6" high @ 20 yds with adj. all the way down. previously had no problerm. Tried another scope same issue. can I shim? If so where? thanks

First make sure the HHA is mounted correctly. A customer of mine recently had a similar problem and found the HHA not mounted correct .

Swap the rings front to back and be certain the scope base is flush first if the HHA checks out 100%.


Shim material will add approx. About 1 MOA per .001" thickness
Not the ideal way to add elevation adjustment, but has been used many times.

Measure an appriate beer or pop can thickness and fabricate an inexpensive shim.

A good beer might help first.
