Will the Excalibur single stage 2.5 work on the Matrix Bulldog 440?
I contacted Triggertech and they were not sure.
They suggested that I ask Excalibur.
Has anyone installed one on the 440?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: Bulldog 440 and Triggertech question
Yes, it will work. But if your 440 has the ACP, which it should, you will also need the piece that screws into the bottom of the Triggertech to connect to the linkage
If you have the ACP, your making a sidestep at best, most would agree a step backwards.

I'm not sure what you mean by ACP.
Mine don't look like that picture,
Mine looks like a trigger cut off with an adjustable screw in it.
along with the linkage screw.

Re: Bulldog 440 and Triggertech question
I do have the ACP trigger in my 440.
I only ask because I was shooting my 405 last night with a triggertech in it,
and it felt much smoother than the trigger in the 440.
Maybe it was the lighter break of 2.5 lbs. VS, 3 ?
Thanks for the input.
