Scentblocker Bug Blocker

Okay...has anybody tried this? Does it work? What about smell? :eusa-think:
Or...is a Thermacell a better option.
Replacing the pads and propellent in a Thermacell can get costly. These are fairly cheap.
For those of us who hunt where "skeeters" are as big as a Huey helicopter, I for one would like to know what folks think!!! :D
Comments?

I have a thermacel plus I wear a bug tamer 2 light weight mesh jacket. Perfect for early season.
Nothing bites thru it. My buddy ran out of the woods the other year when the bugs were so bad
and i sat there without complaints! Jacket also has a see thru mesh face hood.

If it has Permethrin in it it will work just make sure to spray your clothes several days before you hunt because once it dries it becomes odorless. You can also go to Amazon and get the concentrated Permethrin and put in a spray bottle so you can do several sets of your clothes. I still have some left over that I bought about 5 years ago because a little goes a long way. This stuff will also last for several weeks in your clothing even after several washings.

I did spray clothes for years, and then i tried some Elimitick Clothes from Game Hide, and now that's all I wear before the first hard frost. Skeeters leave me alone too!

You need to use Permethrin if you have any ticks. Skeeters will lite on you and then go off and die. I don't think I have been bit by either while wearing properly treated clothes since I started using Permethrin years ago. I order a quart off Amazon back then and still have close to a half bottle of it left and I use it to spray around the house with also. It probably costs me about 30 cents a quart making my own. I use the 36.8% Permethrin.

Permethrin is cheapest way to treat everything you have. You can get it on Ebay for about $30 a quart which will make 32 gallons.
