Project List DONE

Post by xcaliber »

I am usually tinkering with something, anything to keep me out of trouble. I get bored quickly, so I try to keep a list of things I should do, and have to do. I have my dream to do list as well, top on that list is to get a great buck. Covid goofed it up for now, but perhaps 2021 October, Ohio pre rut! Anyway, I'm now focusing on hunting season here, and my last project for me personally is to assemble three ladder stands. I have two weeks to clean up my garage, and assemble these in two piece bundles. I did get my sprinkler system done, had two helpers, and they were great! Put in a solar lamp, and post. 30" deep X 14" diameter mount, level, and red headed post, and got the front and sides of our place landscaped. Funny, my apple tree has some rubs on it! I hope that's for good luck! 8)

Started on some arrows for the Kid, and me tonight, keeping busy, had time to help a few friends too!
I'm in FALL MODE now! Happy Hunting all! :eusa-dance:

Your landscape project looks very nice! If you get bored you might cut the grass across the road. LOL

I hired the landscaper, my nephew & son in law put the sprinkler system in, I supervised, and the Kid dug the whole, and went to Home Depot for the tube we used for the form, I drilled & mounted the lamp post, and lamps.  I did the plan as well with a lot of help from a friends friend. Remeber I gave a crossbow to my neighbor's kid, he plays soccer with the landscape company I had already hired.  We had a contract, but the guy added a few things here, and there, small world folks! Two young guys did all that in 4 days in the 90's, and humid. They tore out all my old stuff for one long day, two trees, 12 bushes. I stayed in the air conditioning.

Anyway, I am so stoked for the archery season this year. I will not hunt in temps past 67 F, it's too hard on my breathing, like wearing these #@&*%&! masks. Joe, I got something for you. I'll text you tomorrow.

Dan, I would NOT want you for a neighbor! No way! You would cause me to work too much around the house! Fortunately for me, my neighbors mostly ride tractors!

If I'm ever down your way I'd be more than happy to buy you a beer of choice, probably Lone Star, or Shiner Bock. I like Yuengling a lot! I did look at riding mowers, but the Queen said nope. :eusa-deadhorse:

Dan it looks like you have it figured out, let the young ones do the hard work. Good luck with your hunting season this year.
