Catclr,
Very intresting product.
How long have you been using this decoy?
Use this decoy 3-4 years. The decoy of just the rear of the decoy(feeder) works good also, because the real deer only see that section, and they never can see the eyes or head. Take to the blind and they stay in the blind, always ready to use when I need them.

You can buy the Buck decoy and you get both a buck & doe decoy, because you can use the horns or not.

One thing I forgot to mention, I like my decoys about 20 to 30 yards away with them positioned up wind from me. This is important because because bucks will hook in from down wind once they know exactly where the trespasser is at. They almost always approach a buck head on, and a doe from the rear, just like us.
With the wind coming into your face you can relax once the deer passes that zone.

Try everything, and have fun with it! Field edges are awesome in places with low pressure!

The decoy will definitely not scare anything you have nothing to lose.
Its comical seeing some of the deers reactions both sexes.

Hope you’re successful. Remember, do not use any scent that is not yet relevant! If there is no sign of the rut starting don’t use those types of scent! Deer will smell a hoax straight away, use a full season scent like deer dander, ever calm, or just plain doe pee! Think like a wise old buck, good luck.

Thanks,
I do have some ever calm. ( does that stuff go out of date? Mine is a year or 2 old )
Should I use just the doe right now, or both ?

I get a fresh ever calm every year. Just use that making your trail into the wind from your decoys! When the woods explode, use something along with it!
