Last season's buck mount

Post by DuckHunt »

My taxidermist called yesterday and today I picked up last year's buck. The full sneak pose certainly highlights how heavy he was. He assumed the top spot above the fireplace.

I've got my work cut out for me to top him.

Very nice trophy ....you gotta be optimistic there is always the chance of getting a bigger buck and even if you dont one just as big would be fine too I'm sure no matter how many you get your always gonna crave the challenge excitement and the hunt.
I feel the same way but now I'm actually happier when my brother gets one that's my goal just to put him on deer and turkeys and I'm just as happy as getting one myself.

My favorite way to have deer "posed" for a mount!! Just seems more natural. Great job on the mount, and a nice deer!! Congrats!!!
