Arrow retention

Post by -sro- »

Do they sell the rubberized arrow retainer? Is there a way to tighten it on an Eco series model? Thanks

Inexpensive shrink wrap and easier on the wallet and you can can tighten the retainer mount screws if loose by disassembly.

Edit - thought you meant the retainer fasteners were loose..
Just bend it into the position you prefer.

I disassemble the trigger assembly wich is best just gently bend the arm down and keep placing it back till your happy with it.
You can put a magic marker under it for leverage and bend the front down gently if you only need a little more tightness if you want to cheat

To clarify..if I slide an arrow in and tilt the bow down, the arrow will slide out of the bow. That's how loose it is

Definately need to tighten that up. As mentioned you can take the scope mount off and bend it down. Or you can push down on the spring with your thumb on the highest part of the spring to bend it down.

You can buy the scoated spring, But 2 layer shrink wrap does wonders.
