I use a base layer of whatever matches the weather with a HECS suit over it. Lightweight, camo and seems to work good.

My old Remington coat shrank in the closet. Another reason for up grade.

That sounds great when I’m sitting in my stand during the late season!

It never very cool for deer season in Texas and Oklahoma, so I’ve worn blue jeans and a camo shirt for years. Since my Dad died in ‘14, I wear one of his old camo shirts when I hunt at my place in Oklahoma. I had that shirt on Thursday evening when I killed my buck.

Dead brownish grass to pine straw colored bottoms and a camo top, nothing matching but complete different color tone difference between top and bottom half of my body, mask, and silent fleecy stuff mostly.
I never use blinds other than sitting in a brush pile or piece of burlap when I’m on the ground.
I usually have to wait until whatever animal it is walks away a little, out to at least five to seven yards.
