I'm hunting a big giant buck...l have no cam pictures of him but l have had 2 visual sightings of him from about 100 yards away
I did a stand move on Friday and waited till today to hunt.
I lean to say its probably the biggest buck l have ever seen lately here.
If not that check out his basketball player sized hoofs. This things a horse n a half ... I was trying to lay low till mid October but now its gonna be hard to do gathering the evidence.
Now the sleepless nights will start....I'm not gonna let this consume me... l know better!!!!

Welcome to the addiction!
I hope you don't let him keep you up at night, you'll need your sleep buddy! We had a whopper on camera the year before my heart attack, and so far nobody has killed him! He has to be a beast this year, but we no longer put cameras out, this is on public land, and we see him where nobody likes to hunt.
Good luck Joe, keep it simple, I know you'll outsmart him. :eusa-popcorn: :eusa-popcorn:

Hey Joe...
I hunt this one place that I found a huge 12 point on 2 years ago. Nobody has seen him during the daytime. Lots of night time pics. Even this season!! I hunt 3 locations on this property. I keep telling myself "It will happen"!! I wish you the best of luck in your quest. It can be addictive!!

Good luck getting him Joe, plenty of time left.
One thing we were told by another hunter, Larry Benoit, is that if you can lay a loaded 30-06 shell in the hoof print the deer will be around 200 lb. dressed, that's one way they decided if a deer was large enough to track, If there was room to spare they were off and tracking.
Last year we found rubs on trees anywhere from 10-11" wide, biggest rubs I ever saw in Pa, never saw the deer that made them though!

No trail cam pics?

We put up a licking branch and had mature a buck hitting it within a day.

Be greet if a scrape or rub line in the area. Placed within bow range of stand helps too!

Stick em. !!!

It’s great to have a specific buck to hunt, but it can also be quite humbling. The big guys seem to sense ones intentions.
