Doe # 3 down for 2020

I was hunting yesterday afternoon in my lock on about 22 ft up looking for one more mature doe to finish filling my freezer when around 5:45 I saw 2 does coming toward me. The 2nd doe was the biggest of the 2 so I waited on her to close the distance at 24 yards and she gave me a slightly quartering away shot so I sent an Easton FMJ tipped with a Hybrid Truglo Titanium X through her lungs and through her opposite shoulder with the Stryker Katana 360. She ran with her head low as she ran out of sight and I heard her crash down the hill, she made it about 60-70 yards. The Truglo Titanium X really did a good job on her no problem tracking her at all. The biggest mystery to me is that I still haven't found my arrow and broadhead, she had a nice exit hole through the shoulder I figured the arrow would be just laying just past where she was standing but I haven't found it so far. I even backtracked following the blood with no luck. I've not had these FMJ arrows too long so I didn't have a lighted nock for these hopefully I'll find it when I go back again and look for it. I'm hunting with my 11 yoa grandson Wednesday so hopefully he'll get a shot at something, I love hunting with those grandsons.
